Titans interested in Kerry Collins?

Still, there is a bit of unfinished business that has to be taken care of in regards to the handling of Volek. There is this very low, but persistent, murmur the Titans might indeed still have interest in having a journeyman quarterback like Kerry Collins, Tommy Maddox or Jay Fiedler come in to compete with Volek for the starting job.
The Spin: Collins was screwed in Oakland by being on a terrible team and it wasn’t totally his fault - and there’s no reason to think he doesn’t have something left in the tank. But Volek has looked good in limited playing time and likely has a few surprises of his own. Barring injury, it doesn’t seem likely that anyone but Volek will be taking that first snap in week 1. A team certainly could do worse than having Kerry Collins as their backup QB…like, say, Tommy Maddox or Jay Fiedler.
