Terrence Kiel is ready for cold & flu season

Terrence Kiel

What is in the water in San Diego? Yet another Charger has run afoul of the law - safety Terrence Kiel was arrested after DEA officials caught him shipping two packages loaded with 18 pint bottles of codeine-based cough syrup to Texas - where bottles go for as much as $325 on the streets - and even more bottles in his condo. He could face 5 years in prison.

$325 a bottle is some nice coin, especially for a guy with a history of financial troubles. But are authorities jumping the gun? I mean, cold and flu season is right around the corner. Is it so wrong to be prepared for the worst?

What’s going on with Chargers defensive players? Kiel is the fourth Charger arrested in the last year. At this rate they’ll be making a sequel to The Longest Yard before they make the Super Bowl.
