Reggie Bush won’t get #5
The Dirt: Competition committee co-chair (and Falcons GM) Rich McKay said today that the committee has recommended against granting Reggie Bush’s request to wear uniform #5, which he wore at USC.
The Spin: Bush may have had a chance if he hadn’t mentioned that he’d donate 25% of jersey sales to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts no matter what number he gets. Rookies. Sheesh.
