Owens and McNabb feud continues over phantom text messages
Days away from their first game against each other since Terrell Owens left the Philadelphia Eagles, he and former teammate Donovan McNabb are making like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie…again.
McNabb said that when Owens was hospitalized for his faux suicide attempt last week, he sent him a text message of well wishes, saying he was praying for Owens and if he needed anything to call. But Owens said he never got it.
“Look, I’m not trying to start anything. He’s a smart guy. If he wanted my number, he could’ve gotten it.”
What is it about these two that makes it like a high school girl drama whenever their names come up? Any time they are in the news it’s like two girls battling over which of them will get to go to prom with Johnny Track Star. It’s probably more Owens than McNabb, but McNabb should know better than to offer up any humanitarian gestures toward Owens. Did one of them wear the same dress to homecoming as the other or something?
