Lions coach Joe Cullen likes to drive around naked
Lions defensive line coach Joe Cullen is the latest graduate from the Larry Eustachy School of Bad Coaching Behavior. Cullen was arrested twice in the last two weeks - once for drunk driving, and again for “driving on public street without any clothes on. (NUDE).” Cullen wouldn’t discuss the incidents with a reporter, but the Lions did release a statement on his behalf…
“I would like to apologize to the Detroit Lions organization, our fans, my family and friends for any embarrassment these incidents have caused. These incidents represent a mistake in judgment on my part. I deeply regret them and have learned a valuable lesson. It won’t happen again.”
This isn’t as big of a deal as most people think. In fact, we’re pretty sure we’ve seen former coach Marty Mornhinweg walking around without pants on the sidelines during a few Lions games.
