Jon Jansen puts his foot in his mouth
After declaring on HBO’s Costas Now that “maybe 15, 20%” of the NFL’s players are using HGH, Washington Redskins tackle Jon Jansen has decided that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to throw his teammates under the bus like that - several articles have pointed out that this would equate to approximately 10 Redskins players.
What I meant by it was that it was a small number of players. Being a football player, I’m not real good at math. When you do the numbers, it sounds like a bigger percentage than it really is. I meant it was small percentage of guys.
Jon makes a good point. Maybe the question is not whether or not 15-20% of football players are taking HGH, but whether or not 15-20% know how to spell HGH.
