Favre a surprise no-show at workout
The Dirt: Packers QB Brett Favre unexpectectedly missed a voluntary workout yesterday. It was unconfirmed whether he didn’t show up on his own or if coaches were allowing him rest. Head coach Mike McCarthy said he would address Favre’s absence in his regular Tuesday interview.
The Spin: Interesting, but hardly news. Favre is more important to that franchise than McCarthy and the entire front office combined. We’d like to see them try and levy some kind of punishment against him for missing a workout - voluntary or not.
