Damon Huard might steal Trent Green’s job
Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards might have changed his mind about giving Trent Green his job back once he’s recovered from the concussion he suffered in week 1. Backup Damon Huard has 11 touchdown passes and just 1 pick in 7 starts, and while Herm had been saying Green would get his job back, he’s started backing off that stance.
“The one thing you can never count out is chemistry on your football team, and that is very important. At this point, I don’t have to make that decision. It will be a decision I’ll make.”
If he loses this job he’ll be out of Missouri teams to start over with. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get any post-career advice from O.J. Simpson.
