Arizona State hangs Sam Keller out to dry
Now this is what you call a quarterback controversy - Arizona State senior QB Sam Keller was excused from practice and is “considering his options” (or as Eric Cartman would say, “Screw you guys, I’m going home”) after head coach and Indian giver Dirk Koetter (greatest name ever) backpeddled, handing the job to sophomore Rudy Carpenter days after giving it to Keller. The East Valley Tribune reports several players confronted Koetter, saying they thought Carpenter should get the job, and Koetter said he had trouble sleeping after making the decision.
Sucks to be Keller. His options are to take a year off then transfer to another Div. 1-A team, or transfer to a Div. 2-A team this year. Or of course he could take the Mo Clarrett Option - take a year off & tour the country courtesy the Israeli mob.
