Raptors looking for O’Neal or Gasol for top draft pick?
The Dirt: Unsubstantiated and unconfirmed “online rumors” hint that the Toronto Raptors could be looking at trading the number one draft pick for the Pacers’ Jermaine O’Neal, the Grizzlies’ Pau Gasol, or a player of similar stature.
The Spin: Nothing exists to lend any credibility to these rumors, but it is very likely that this type of trade is being considered. The draft pool is shallow this year, so it makes sense that they would be considering veterans instead of using the pick.
