Kevin McHale offered Wally Szczerbiak for Dwyane Wade?

The Wolves deny the rumor that Kevin McHale offered Wally Szczerbiak in a multi-player deal for Wade. But apparently Pat Riley, then the Heat’s general manager and now its coach, knew what he had. Right now, some of the NBA experts rank Wade as the best player in the league.

The Spin: That’s just too much. Why stop there? How about Mark Madsen for Kobe Bryant? No? Could he throw in Eddie Griffin to even things up?
