Sammy Sosa ready to return to baseball

Sammy Sosa is not retired and could hit some more home runs in the major leagues.
At least, that is what he said Wednesday.
“I’m not retired. I’m young and happy,” said the Dominican to a radio station in Santo Domingo.
“I wanted a break, but I’m getting ready to come back for the right offer,” said Sosa.
We can only imagine that seconds after this announcement was made, over-anxious GMs jammed up the phone grid trying to get ahold of Sosa. What manager doesn’t want to spice up their team with steroids and corked bats and be part of the next Muhammad Ali-esque comeback?
Newsflash, Sammy: you ain’t young, and you’ve never been happy. You’re a junkie has-been nearly on par with Jose Canseco. Write a trashy book and plot a “comeback” in the minors (which is what you might have to do anyway) and the Bash Brother has nothing on you.
