Joe Niekro dies of brain aneurysm
All-time Houston Astros win leader Joe Niekro died yesterday of a brain aneurysm at the age of 61.
Niekro won 221 games for the Astros and combined with his Hall of Fame brother Phil for 539 wins, a record.
