Frank Thomas signs fat contract with Blue Jays

Frank Thomas signed a 2 year, $18 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays today and will play DH.
It’s a brilliant move by Frank. Thanks to current exchange rates he’ll be able to eat 15% more in American money.
The move also opens up the DH spot for the Oakland Athletics, who could make a big push (and offer a big payday) to Barry Bonds. It’s an idea situation for Bonds, as swirling Bay winds as well as continued proximity to steroid supplier BALCO will help him break Hank Aaron’s home run record that much sooner.

The Blue Jays will have some serious thump in the lineup next year - Glaus, Thomas, and Wells is an impressive trio of hitters in any lineup.
