Albert Belle denied bond
The Dirt: Albert Belle has been denied bond in a stalking case in Maricopa County in which a woman claims Belle repeatedly called her and hung up.
The Spin: If this was anyone else except Albert Belle, we might say that being denied bail for essentially pranking someone is a bit harsh. Belle reportedly called the woman - a former escort with whom Belle had a 5-year relationship - several times and hung up before finally identifying himself, at which point the woman called police, who traced the calls to Belle.
